• Shayan Chaudhury

Shayan Chaudhury (he/him) is a junior in the School of Arts and Sciences Honors College double majoring in Political Science and History. His interest in law began in high school where he competed at the National We the People Competition, and it continued through his experiences working at the National Constitution Center, and most recently, the New York City Law Department. Shayan is committed to immersing himself in the practice of law through writing for the Daily Targum, researching for the Aresty program, and oral advocacy as a competitor for the Rutgers University Mock Trial Association.

On campus, Shayan devotes himself to civic education, having experience as a Darien Civic Engagement Fellow and helping launch the Rutgers Civic Engagement Hub with the Rutgers Democracy Lab. After graduating, Shayan hopes to bring the skills he’s learned at Rutgers to the courtroom. In his free time, Shayan enjoys singing, playing the guitar, and rooting for the Detroit Pistons.
